Day 1. Embark at 1 pm on board the first Nautitech 40 Open Bavaria Catamaran in the Indian Ocean and sail away from la balise marina. Welcome and briefing by the captain. Sail towards Tamarin bay to watch the sunset and then to Petite Riviere noire for first night on anchor and diner on board. Night on board.Day 2. Wake up and have an early morning encounter with the dolphins and then breakfast. Set sail towards Flic en Flac, dive at the Cathedral and spend your 2nd night on anchor near the cliffs of Albion or at Le Caudan waterfront.Day 3. After breakfast and an early snorkel or a quick tour of the city ( depending on anchorage the previous night) the catamaran will set sail for some blue water sailing towards Balaclava passing by Port Louis on its way, those wanting to dive will be picked up by the dive team and taken to the best dive spots off the west coast. Those who have stayed on board may enjoy some snorkelling once the catamaran has set anchor at Turtle bay for the overnight.Day 4 After breakfast set sail towards Mont Choisy. The divers will be picked up to go do their dives whilst those wishing to go and visit the island will have a choice of land visits such as visit of the Pamplemousse Garden, the Sugar Museum or the Chateau de Labourdonnais or even go riding electric bicycles that offer a unique cycling experience. Then board the catamaran to watch the sunset and spend the night on board.Day 5. After breakfast the catamaran will sail towards gunners coin for lunch and for the divers to enjoy some amazing underwater cliff and canyon dives. Lunch will be served on anchor with the magnificent cliffs of Gunners coin island in the back drop. Then sail to the North Islands for the night at anchor in the lagoon between flat island and Gabriel island.Day 6. Sail back to Trou D’eau Douce. This will depend on the weather as the east coast of the island can have rough seas at certain times of the year. This will be 4-6 hour sailing from the northern islands to the pass of Trou D’eau Douce and a night on board.Day 7. After breakfast and an early snorkel or a quick tour of the village the catamaran will set sail and drop you off on Isle aux cerfs for some time at leisure to Snorkel or simply relax or participate in water sport activities on the island. The night will be spent near isle aux cerf or in one of the small bays off the east coast of Mauritus. Day 8. After breakfast those diving will be picked up to do a wreck dive or an outer reef dive. This part of Mauritius has some magnificent dive spots. For those not diving we propose to join an electro bike tour that allows you to discover the south east coast of the island from Vieux Grand Port (where the famous naval battle took place in 1810.) To Mahebourg. Night and diner at anchor near ile de la passe, trou moutoo or ile aux aigrettes.Day 9. Wake up after breakfast go and do a guided tour of Iles aux aigrettes a pristine nature reserve. Lunch is served on board before setting sail towards baie du cap where the vessel will set anchor for the last night & diner at anchor.Day 10. Disembark at 8am. This should give you a good idea of what the live-aboard sailing & scuba diving vacation can promise. For a more detailed itinerary please contact us by email on [email protected]. B: The full board supplement package of Euro 60 per person per day is compulsory and is to be paid to the base manager upon boarding. The dives at a cost of Euro 50 per person per dive are also to be organised once on board with your captain and will only be honoured if a minimum of 4 divers join for each dive.
